Reverend Edward Berry and his wife, Mamie, organized the Unity Baptist Church in July 1918, and suggested the name UNITY.  Whoever you are that worships at Unity,
in whatever household of faith you were born, whatever creed you now profess, if you come to Unity, our sanctuary, to seek God, you are welcome.
It is our belief that Jesus Christ alone is the head of the Church, and we strive to make this the central fact in our lives.
